Trustee Development Programme

Improve effectiveness at Trustee level

The programme will prepare governors who will become Trustees in Multi Academy Trusts

It will improve your knowledge of how a Trust works and how mindset is key to Trust success

It will give you confidence in being able to understand the role you are about to take

It will improve your ability to think strategically and make informed decisions for the outcomes for children

It will improve your skills in holding to account the senior school leaders whilst supporting in the same measure

The programme will enable you to understand Trust growth and the due diligence activities required to grow the Trust effectively

It will better prepare you to conduct self evaluation

It will improve your knowledge in communicating with stakeholders

It will provide you with skills to better understand academy finances and be able to ask relevant questions of senior leaders on the use of Trust assets

For existing Trustees: It will also improve existing Trustees skills sets and build on the experience gained so far.

Learn 2 Coach

Our Learn 2 Coach course provides participants with the necessary skills to start this coaching journey. The course is a two-day event delivered by professional coaches who are also experienced tutors in leading and supporting all sectors.

On the first day of the course, you will be given a course booklet which is all you need to start your coaching journey. The course will contain opportunities to discuss, listen, and put into practice coaching skills in a safe space. Active participation enables you to experience the power of coaching. There are regular opportunities built into the course for reflection and networking.

CEO Programme

Marshall Professional Development is delighted to announce the release of our new and accredited, modular Being a CEO Programme. The programme is aimed at anyone wishing to become a Multi Academy Trust CEO, anyone who has just become a CEO in a Multi Academy Trust and even existing CEO’s who want to up-skill as part of their own CPD. Many elements of the programme are also applicable to anyone simply wishing to improve their leadership skills.

All modules focus on practical rather than theoretical thinking as we believe this is where real learning helps this unique role. Our course has been written in conjunction with experienced CEO’s who all told us what they would have loved to have known before they started their journey.

The programme involves 6 one-day modules and – circumstances allowing – will be delivered in person at existing Trust locations.

Executive Headship Programme

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest course: the Executive Headship Programme.

This two-module programme will prepare enrollers for the duties and responsibilities that come with being the Head of a school. The course is delivered personally be experienced professionals so you can draw on years and decades of first-hand expertise to begin your journey as a head with all the tools you need. The course is also CPD certified.

Stand-Alone Modules

In addition to our modular courses above, we have several single-session classes. Some of these are individual modules that can usually be found within the framework of one of our multi-module courses, but which can be taken by themselves if so desired.
